Construction Office
The construction office is responsible for administering the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (UCC) when permits are required.

Code Enforcement
The code enforcement office investigates property code violation complaints and enforces code regulations, which includes issuing continuing certificates of occupancy (CCO). A CCO is required prior to the sale of all commercial and residential properties and whenever there is a change in tenant.
The code enforcement office also issues mercantile licenses (contact the Construction Clerk).
